LA MOTILLA

Situation

In the Sierra de la Siruela, on the edge of the municipal districts of Siruela and Garlitos, stands its second highest point, La Motilla, at an altitude of 940 m. The easiest way to access is through the rural track that leaves the BA-136, the road used to reach the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Altagracia. Given that it is such a high enclave, you can see from here views that reach municipalities such as Talarrubias, Siruela, Garbayuela, Tamurejo and Baterno , as well as part of the Serena reservoir.
