The International Coordination Council (CIC) of UNESCO's Man and Biosphere Program (MaB), designated Siberia Extremadura as the Biosphere Reserve on June 19, which joins the Spanish Biosphere Reserve Network and places Spain as a world leader.

This mention would not have been possible without the set of city councils, Ceder La Siberia, Diputación de Badajoz, Junta de Extremadura and the Guadiana Hydrographic Confederation. But above all without the collaboration of the citizens of La Siberia who every day drive with their work a region full of life, which understands that a sustainable economic and social development is as possible as necessary.

A project in which to continue working to convert the impressive Siberian biodiversity, our history, our culture and the traditions that we have known how to conserve, in a real future for our land.

We invite everyone, to all, to discover the already Siberian Biosphere Reserve, a surprising corner in Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain, which falls in love.

Nature in its purest state, beautiful traditions, tasty cuisine, thousands of years of history and Siberians and Siberians wanting to share the best of our land.
