RESERVOIR OF ORELLANA
- Built in 1961 on the Guadiana River, it has a capacity of 808 hm 3 and an extension of 400 km 2
- Coordinates UTM: 30S 0280423 - 4318386
- Environment declared as a Special Protection Area for Birds, Special Conservation Area and Site of Community Interest "Orellana and Sierra de Pela Reservoir".We also find in this area the Periurban Park of Conservation and Leisure Dehesa de Moheda (Navalvillar de Pela). The Orellana Reservoir is considered a Wet Zone of International Importance by the RAMSAR Convention.
