TOUR

We start in "Los Badenes", a farm with farmhouse on the edge of Fuenlabrada de los Montes and Villarta de los Montes, on the road that goes from this town to the N-430. After passing through a Canadian pass, we will enter the "Regional Hunting Reserve of the Cíjara", where we will cross an oak forest of great ecological and landscape value, which runs parallel to the Robledillo stream. It is in this area where we will find the "Robledillo Forest House". From there we will continue the route between pine forests, we will cross the "Sierra de la Rinconada" and we will reach a valley that houses a swamp where the "Observatory of the Berrea de Valdemoros" is installed. From there we continue to "Puerto Lobo", where we will take a signposted road to Helechosa de los Montes. On this road we will contemplate some beautiful views of the Cíjara Reservoir. At the intersection of Helechosa and Herrera we will find the so-called "Cruce de las Mesas", which includes a picnic area. A few kilometers from this point we will find a fork, but we will continue our journey along the track we are taking, towards the junction with the Cíjara track. This section is identified by the poles of old power lines already unused. In this bifurcation we find the "Casa del Cíjara". We will go through cork oaks, heathland and meadows until we reach the Cíjara Dam, the final enclave of the route. Once there, from the viewpoint "Portillo del Cíjara" we can contemplate some splendid views.
