RESERVOIRS

The region of La Siberia has a good number of reservoirs - emerged as a result of the Badajoz Plan carried out in the mid-twentieth century around the Guadiana River - this area being also one of the largest stretches of sweet coast in Spain, as it counts with kilometric extensions of fluvial margins. This is undoubtedly a great tourist attraction for visitors who come to the area, seen also enhanced by the diversity of activities that take place around these recreational areas, and ranging from sports - such as canoeing ,paddle surfing , water skiing and the like - fishing - Siberia is a paradise for lovers of this sport, as its sites have many varieties of fish, including some species such as pike, carp or black-bass - , passing through navigation or the simple enjoyment of a family bath in a spectacular landscape environment.
