COGOLLUDO

Situation

Place located between Navalvillar de Pela, Puebla de Alcocer and Esparragosa de Lares. It is accessed through a local road that joins the EX115 (which goes from Navalvillar de Pela to Orellana la Vieja) with the EX103 (which goes from Castuera to Puebla de Alcocer). In the perimeter of the reservoir waterfowl and waders can be observed in the numerous entrances in the troughs that drain the surrounding hills. Also, there is a colony of griffon vulture in the rocky area of the southern part of the Cogolludo bridge, in addition to being able to observe other raptors around this location.
